We have several employees who handle money all day long. Lots of them wear gloves for the sake of cleanliness because money is super dirty. The concern of running into absorption drugs like fentanyl has grown. I've found my fair share of rolled up bills between the casino and the hotel. Having proper PPE is something we can't stress enough. Do not raw dog it, please put on some gloves. Call the appropriate channels and write the report. We have placed narcan in all of our med bags and in several other locations within the casino.

We have a fair amount of clientele that partake in illegal drug use. Whenever we respond to a potential drug we always have PPE on.  It's such a comfort to know that we have an additional option to counteract opiates. We have Narcan in all of our medical bags, and in some areas that are at high risk of exposure. We just gotta remember that Narcan only cancels opiates and not hard drugs. Luckily, there is a well-known and commonly found counter to the symptoms of overdose for these cases, though if not caught in time, it can, as in most other medical emergencies, lead to the death of the patient.
