Due to the constant erosion of the coastline, the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse was moved inland to prevent damage from the waves to the structure. It is located in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Wind is also a major factor in erosion's process. Wind can blast against rocks and carry that sediment for miles in the air. Arches National Park, located in Utah, gets its name from the meticulous arches of rock carved by wind over thousands of years. Another desert area, the Gobi Desert, is home to many sand dunes, built up over 1,300 feet high. Over thousands of years, wind has carried sand and other sediments to their<em> current</em> resting place. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Wind also plays a large factor in deposition. Sand and dust from the Sahara Desert can be tracked to the coasts of Brazil, winds carrying the material thousands of miles over ocean and land. In the Great Sand Dunes National Park located in Colorado, dust and sand from dried up lakes blew in between two mountains and formed small dunes. As the sand continued to blow, the dunes continued to grow. Eventually they reached very high peaks and today are the highest sand dune in the United States; all thanks to deposition. </div>]]></description>
