A large capacity of resources known as fossil fuels, along with innovative machines that are powered by steam, jump started the progress of the economy worldwide. Before this era, most countries around the world were agricultural and did traditional ways of things to get by in life. It started in Britain, then gradually spread to different parts of the world, changing the economy as a whole. Also changing how most people were going to live their lives from that point forward. Products were efficiently being produced, plenty of jobs available, etc. there were a lot of new opportunities for everything.
(KhanAcademy, 2020, Para. 1)

Video Link about the Industrial Revolution

The Roaring Twenties was the first decade in time to be given a nickname, "Roaring Twenties" or the "Jazz Age". It was given that name because a lot of important things were happening and "trendy" things started to happen, like wearing the same style of clothes and listening to the same type of music. During this time, social and political society changed drastically. There were various new things happening as well such as, jazz, bootleggers, raccoon coats, flappers, the great migration, societal norms, etc. For the first time ever, more people were living in big cities rather than living on farms or rural areas. The nation's wealth also more than doubled during this time, the economy was growing expeditiously.
(History, 2010, Para. 1)

Video Link about the Roaring Twenties

During this decade, there were a new way of doing things on a large scale which completely took over the American landscape. These things happening were, nationally integrated railroad infrastructure, new technologies of mass production, increasingly concentrated, and urbanized markets changed the economy drastically. In a short time span of about 12 years, a series of industries and new businesses, creating enterprises
that encompassed huge manufacturing plants spread over several geographic locations, coupled with nationalized systems of distribution and marketing. Big business thus joined mass production to mass distribution and in the process also made mass consumption.

that encompassed huge manufacturing plants spread over several geographic locations, coupled with nationalized systems of distribution and marketing.
