Early on we find out the four characters are Autumn, Sylvia, Claire and Tomas. Tomas and Sylvia and siblings and Autumn has a brother named Tyler who is Autumn’s brother. When Tyler was in the middle of 10th grade he dropped out because he was getting bullied for being weird and not like everyone else. During this time he had a girlfriend named Claire and they go into many fights that caused them to break up. Tomas pulls Sylvia out of the auditorium and kicks the door shut. Ty shoots about four shots at the door. People start to run out of the school safety. Claire tries to put the blame for Tylers actions on her but there’s nothing she could have done. Tomas, Fareed, and Sylvia all head upstairs hoping that Ty will follow them. Sylvia started talking to herself saying this wouldn’t have happened if she had him arrested. Tomas and Fareed continually ask what he did to her. The SWAT team barges into the auditorium and everyone there who is still alive is free. Fareed and Sylvia escape to the roof, while Tomas stays inside to confront Ty. He tells Sylvia to tell their Mom he loves her and everything. Autumn sees no sign of Sylvia. She hears two shots from upstairs. Ty spots Tomas while he was trying to go into a different room. Ty shoots the wall right next to Tomas. Ty gets distracted by the people moving in the back and Autumn tries to regain his focus by putting her hand on his shoulder. He then takes the gun and hits the side of her face with it. Ty tells Autumn it is took late to save him now. Claire and Chris wait outside patiently waiting to see their friends faces walk out of the school alive. One of the officers ask them a bunch of questions and the officer asked Claire if she knew anyone with the name Tyler Browne. Tyler starts to knock a song him and Sylvia know and he figures out it is her on the other side of the door when she continues the song. As they are knocking to a song their mom used to sing to them, a shot was fired and they song stopped. Tomas was so worried and he started to hear the police sirens in the distance. Claire and Chris are in the cop car on the way to the school after they reported it to the police. Autumn becomes very brave and stands up to show Ty where she was. He then tells her to come up by him so they can talk. The closer she gets the more she realizes that this isn’t the Ty she knows and loves. Ty continues to shoot multiple teachers and students if they tried to escape or talked back to him. Sylvia then notifies the reader that Tyler has returned to the school for pay back to everyone that has hurt him. He stands up from one of the rows and starts to fire in every direction. During this time the track team is on a run and Claire is on the team. As they get closer back to school they hear the shots being fired. Thomas and Fareed call the police from the office. Ty and Autumn talk for a little while Sylvia and Fareed see Tomas’ body lying on the ground. They are both in tears. At the end of their conversation Ty puts the gun to his head and pulls the trigger. The police come up shortly after Ty blew his brains out.
