See, Jr. as command Pilot; and Charles A. Bassett II as pilot. They both died in a plane crash 4 months before the launch date.
-The new mission crew was Thomas P. Stafford as command pilot and Eugene A. Cernan as pilot.
-Cernan walked on the moon for 2 hours and 7 minutes
-The first objective was to dock with an Agena Target Vehicle, as had been achieved on the Gemini 8 mission.
-So, the second objective was a planned extravehicular activity (EVA) or "space walk" by the right-hand seat pilot.
-On the third day of the mission, Cernan began the spacewalk which was a trouble from the beginning.
---After pumping up his pressure suit to 3 1/2 lbs per square inch, the suit became so stiff that it didn't want to bend at all. Once he left the space craft, he tumbled around because he couldn't walk properly.
