It's important for younger kids to learn about what it is and how it affects many people. It's important so they don't discriminate as the next generation. Spreading awareness about a topic is the best way of learning.

Discrimination impacts people globally as it has the ability to drive people out of their country and has to fluctuate with population. This is leading immigrants to not only leave a certain destination but also move somewhere else after just a few years.

Discrimination in Canada has been happening since Canada was created. Discrimination is the unjust treatment of people in different categories. There has always been a diverse group of people in Canada and that has caused to a lot of discrimination over the years. Canada participated in slavery, ownership and many more harm treatments to minorties across the country. Over the years we have gotten much better and been a lot more inclusive towards every category. This is a really good thing because we want all our citizens to feel welcomed.

What are some possible solutions to this issue?

Some possible solutions to stop discrimination in Canada is to speak up, meaning to rally a group together. Canada has to build a diverse workforce meaning giving jobs to people of all race/ethnicity. We also must work as a country to welcome new employees that have recently immigrated and try to work on installing them a better education if needed schooling. We as a country also must educate people on how to act and not judge people by where they have been but instead where they are.
