In a typical week I would work around 40 hours per week saving Sundays, if needed, for lesson prep time. I would most likely work with another teacher in the classroom early in my career, however in general all the teachers in schools are a team and work together. As a teacher I am active and it can be emotionally draining during stressful days.

States with most public schools include California, Texas, and New York so you will find more opportunities.

Personality traits that elementary school teachers tend to have is very social individuals, creative, patient, and kind.
