Founded in 1929, by the precious blood sisters. Later parts of the building became shelter for orphans and those in need. The convent played an important role in the welfare society. It provided shelter, medicine and was even an orphanage for abandoned children. It was built in the times when British ruled Hong Kong, meaning the architectures were heavily inspired by the British architectures. Unfortunately the building is not open to the public, but you can still admire the design of this convent as it was influenced by the British colonial.
