When the frontal lobe is impaired, this impacts decision making, planning, reasoning and judgement which leads to poorer regulation of emotions. Fascinating!

I appreciated the section on the four brain functions that are impacted by being "flipped" and it makes so much sense, I'd just never had it explained that way before

It was a nice refresher to learn about the brain science behind trauma! Always a good reminder that in relation to what we feel and physically do on the outside of our bodies also derives or have impact from the inside of our bodies.

I would like to know more about how we focus on mindset shifts and education rather than always having to change our language, that feels more meaningful to me but maybe we feel it's not possible. I just don't see how it's helping to cave to the language shift every time. I think it's possible we are losing power by not naming things as they are.

I liked the more "bite sized" processing. Go over a concept or two, give response, go over another concept, response. The previous trainings where we went over 20 minutes of content and then had breakout rooms didn't feel as effective. I liked having the chat response option or always being invited to unmute. Sometimes it takes me a second to process what I'm thinking and share what I mean, the chat in a larger room is nice for that

We are in this transition period together so having this meeting has been great! Understandable that there are limited examples and resources for MDH to disperse given the changing/newness. What are MDH's expectations of LPH SHIP in this work during this transitional time?
