Standard: 4-ESS3-1. | Obtain and combine information to describe that energy and fuels are derived from natural resources and their uses affect the environment.

Students should research different renewable energy types. They will combine their research into either a video, a drawing, a writing sample, or presentation. The information they gather will describe the natural energy process they found. They should also explain how the renewable energy they chose affects the environment. To clear misconceptions, students should include both benefits and disadvantages of their energy source.
After researching and creating their presentation of their choice, students should share their energy findings with a group of students who chose the same energy process. The student will then describe to the class their findings, in short tidbits. The class will then discuss the pros and cons of renewable energy.
