How much water do you think you use a day? Take that and double it. Recent research done in California and other states shows that most people use double the water they think they do. Today there are many solutions to conserving water, but many states and countries are still neglecting to try or test these new solutions. One water saver is low filled toilets. You may not know it but every time you flush your toilet you are using roughly 3.5 gallons of water! Now there are low filled toilets that use about 1.3 gallons per flush, just switching to small things like this could be the simple solution many overpopulated places need

I found this great article with about 30 easy ways to conserve not just water, but just about every waning recourse. Not all of these are things you can incorporate into your everyday life, but there are some interesting things that I think would be great if we could add them to our community.

This article is one of the coolest things I’ve ever read! In at least one part of the world there is a storm going on right now. Imagine how much lightning strikes in just one day, now imagine how much energy that is! Well scientists have come up with new ways to take that energy convert and transfer it. Scientists are also trying to work up a efficient system of storing the energy, so that in the future we will still have plenty of energy just in case

While I was reading this I was so shocked at how people could be so selfish. Wealthy people in Southern California are refusing to conserve water just because they “can afford the droughts”. It was truly disheartening to read this because people still lack to understand the seriousness of saving our recourses! I hope that other audiences that read this think about their recourse usage. I can also only hope that these people choose to change their ways.

Whenever I read this I was applauding the governors decision, but at the same time I was thinking how I would feel if the law affected me. In this article the governor passes a law that requires you to only be able to use a certain amount of water monthly. How would you feel if this law was passed where you live?

Whenever I started this project at first i was a little bored, as I kept going with it I got more and more interested. I have always had a little bit of general knowledge on the fact that we our slowly running out of resources. I am so happy that I did this topic because I want everyone to be informed on the fact that we need to keep conserving. I now know so much new information about our environment and I know all of the areas in our environment that need the most help with recourses. As well as the places that are doing great! I hope that I can keep learning and informing
