I asked my friend Kai to send me a picture of a cool fox. She sent me this:

So, I took my cool pixel art program and pixelated it. Its longer side is now 64 pixels wide.

Step2

I took this photo and outlined it. The picture's still very noisy at this stage, so I made the outline purple. For visibility.

Step3

Coloring it in. This'll be the foundation for the picture.

I added more vague bits of color and changed some colors in general.

It's got a clean new background, some heavier shading, and I changed the eyes a bit.
All in all, this took me a few weeks to finish. I'm pretty proud of it how it is!
