What is collaborative learning? adrianares27 https://padlet.com/adrianares27/6a5cgnj14nlz/wish/194946574 In my opinion, collaborative learning is an active teaching and learning process that involves groups of students working together to solve a problem. During this process, students are socially, emotionally and intelectually challenged. In so doing, students are engaged in learning and begin to create their own unique conceptual frameworks. In this scenario, the role of the teacher is not transmiting information but a learning facilitator. I believe that this method is very efficient but it’s not always easy to implement. Throughout my teaching career I’ve tried several times this teaching approach  not always with the success I wanted, but nevertheless I had the opportunity to witness several moments in which students develop their capacity for autonomy, leadership and responsibility while working as a team.

Classrooms are organized according to the traditional standard placing the teacher in the center of all the attention. 

However, we are all aware of the need for changes in the organization of the classrooms and have submitted a project to create a future classroom lab. Hope to learn more about this, so I can help with new ideas!

Generally students have a very accurate notion of assessing situations and this helps the teacher to strive more and more.

Technology can no longer be dissociated from learning, because young people use it every day on different occasions. For this reason we must take advantage of new technologies and teach them how to use them within the classroom as learning tools.

A History & Geography teacher’s experience of collaborative learning adrianares27 https://padlet.com/adrianares27/6a5cgnj14nlz/wish/195026479 Not all teachers are open to these experiences, some think they do not have sufficient digital skills, others are afraid of leaving their comfort zone. But whenever we establish collaboration with other teachers, students benefit greatly from these partnerships. I also find it difficult to ensure the quality of learning whenever I put collaborative work into practice, I am always afraid that I can not properly assess my students' performance. This was one of the reasons that led me to enroll in this course!

I have already noticed that peer or group work involving the resolution of exercises does not result in effective collaboration, as the result would be very similar if they you worked individually.

High level of collaboration
Last year I was involved in an interdisciplinary activity with other colleagues, where students had to work in groups in a collaborative way. Each group had a different task that  would contribute to the final product (exhibition open to the community about the Celtic culture). 
Throughout this process, it was clear the motivation with which the students worked, contributing with good ideas and suggestions. In addition to learning, they have developed organizational, autonomous, supportive and leadership skills, among others, It was really a success!

Embedding collaborative learning into lesson design adrianares27 https://padlet.com/adrianares27/6a5cgnj14nlz/wish/195349163 I agree that if we speak the same language and are consistently share and plan similar collaborative activities, our students will more easily and efficiently achieve the goals. Having collaborative skills is not a personality trait and that we can design learning activities to better develop these skills in our students. 

As noted in the video, new technologies can help create collaborative learning, making lessons more interesting and motivating, but the choice of apps should be careful and rigorous.
