Still Not At The Top.....But We Have Light! We'll Cal It A Mild Success

I think I was able to understand the concept of conduction. The copper tape conducts energy from the battery to the light. I re-taped a few times before filming this post and thought that the taping itself was an issue but I yielded the same results. I wonder if it was a success but because the LED light was so far from the power source, it yielded a light that was too faint to see? I did notice the closer I was to the battery the stronger the light was.

Similar to the lighthouse I had two cooper trails for the lights to interact with. I tried to create “bridges” with the tape this time hoping I wouldn’t have as many connectivity issues. The lights were still faint, but it worked! I did have to play with the battery a little, and ended up using a clamp to make it stay in place.

....When I tell you I really attempted to get this thread to go through the needle and it would NOT cooperate??? The thread became frayed, I stabbed myself, and I got frustrated. I was able to pop the battery into the battery holder, but that was much success I got with this project.

I felt really defeated with this. Mostly because I didn’t get to the circuit part. I got held up with the sewing. Trying multiple times the thread became frayed and too fuzzy to go through the eye (but I was also unsuccessful before the fraying and fuzz). This is a project I would have preferred a little preparation before diving in. I know if I struggled I could only imagine with students.
