The copper tape conducts energy from the battery to the light. I re-taped a few times before filming this post and thought that the taping itself was an issue but I yielded the same results. I wonder if it was a success but because the LED light was so far from the power source, it yielded a light that was too faint to see? I tried to create “bridges” with the tape this time hoping I wouldn’t have as many connectivity issues. The lights were still faint, but it worked! The thread became frayed, I stabbed myself, and I got frustrated. Mostly because I didn’t get to the circuit part. I got held up with the sewing. Trying multiple times the thread became frayed and too fuzzy to go through the eye (but I was also unsuccessful before the fraying and fuzz). This is a project I would have preferred a little preparation before diving in.
