In return for a donation to support local hospice care, your real tree will be collected from outside your home from the 9-11 January 2025 and recycled for you. Registration opens from November. Your support will help St Michael's Hospice raise the £15,000 a day needed to provide all hospice services for the local community for free. Trips start from Galleon Marine Boatyard in Odiham, and include a short boat trip on the canal on their dayboat, Dawn. Father Christmas will be on board, with a present for all children aged 11 and under. Tickets are £15 per head, free for babies under 12 months.  9 places are available on each trip. HUGE THANKS also to the staff at Heckfield Place, Heckfield Estates, KVIK Management and Highfield Park for donating wrapped Christmas gifts for all the young carers in our Junior Group, and to Fleet Hospital & Community Friends, Yateley and Fleet branches of Waitrose & Partners, and Odiham and Hook, Farnborough and Rushmoor Rotary Clubs for their very generous financial donations. With these donations the team will be providing the following: 

  • Christmas Parties  for all our groups (Junior, Senior and Young Adult Carers) at Mayfield Community Centre in Farnborough involving party food and soft drinks and fun games like musical chairs, Pin the Nose on Rudolph  and What's in Santa's Sack, as well as a Christmas Quiz with our older members,

  • Gift cards for all the young carers in our Senior and Young Adult Carers Groups,

  • Trips for Junior Group to Clip ‘n Climb Camberley and The Anvil Theatre in Basingstoke to see the pantomime Sleeping Beauty,

  • Trip for Senior and Young Adult Carers Groups to Jump In Trampoline Park Camberley,

  • Transport for all our Christmas activities.
