He furthered the industry of contrastions and the arts, allowing the decrease of the unemployment rate and development of society. As a result the arts continued, through paintings music and theatre and new buildings, highways, streets, and bridges were built.

Especially now when wages were not sufficient to purchase the goods on market, unions were essential in voicing this disparity and moving towards change.
