         <description><![CDATA[<div>There is more conversation amongst (some) NC staff, more policy awareness, novel and promising leads, and more recognition of TNTP with influential stakeholders. We haven't reached any "lift-off" though for a regular cadence (and I don't think we will until people are working in the state and across content (vs. content silos)). </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Staffing has obviously been a real challenge. Although we're going to hire (which is great) I still think there is a challenge that will last through the end of the fiscal (and maybe beyond) with people taking a lot of vacation time and COVID time. In my experience, someone who is allocated at 50% might only be spending 25% with all the time off folks are taking. While vacation time will slow in the next fiscal, curious how we're going to continue to handle COVID time off</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Honestly, I still struggle to understand how we get this from exploratory and conversational to selling more work - particularly when local staff capacity is already tapped for work elsewhere. Even if I do sell more SC work, there's no one anywhere in either of the Carolinas (and maybe not even in the SE) to staff it - and given ongoing travel restrictions - I imagine we'll resume local travel before flying, this will continue to be a problem</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Agree with everything below. I think we need to 1) revisit staffing and generally how people are using time/taking time off. The bandaid staffing approach has lasted for months now and though it <em>may</em> be most effective, people don't like it. 2) shift our support to anticipating need rather than reacting. Primarily, I think this means a focus on how we can get smarter on distance learning content and support. 3) focus on knowledge management - if not as an org than at least as a region - there's more reinventing the wheel going on now that everything seems new/different.</div>]]></description>

I also think we (not just TNTP, but the field) should be thinking about how we're measuring the effectiveness of online instruction. Not necessarily evaluating teachers, but engaging in some kind of ongoing progress monitoring to track how kids are or are not getting access to meaningful instruction and then implementing PD in response.</div>]]></description>
