Specifically these features were curved roads, shopping centers, nice schools, restaurants, good looking lawns with trees, pools, parking lots and big backyards. A lot of these features helped bring welcoming feeling to the town. Not to mention the phenomenally low crime rates that both Santa Clarita and Levittown share. Santa Clarita shares a lot of these aspects that the levittown had. Santa Clarita is essentially a modern day Levittown due to all of the shared features that it has in common such as the ones stated above.

Curved roads had been implemented in Levittown to improve aesthetic effect as well as to slow down traffic. This of course is exactly the same as Santa Clarita since there are quite a lot of curved roads which makes the streets absolutely beautiful. Next, Levittown had shopping centers which is exactly what Santa Clarita has. Shopping centers in Levittown were created for easier access to new consumer goods that could be purchased. With this in mind Santa Clarita is a modern day Levittown to a certain extent.

Levittown had nice schools since it was a family friendly environment which needed schools for children that lived in Levittown. These schools helped to improve the childrens education in order for them to become successful. As stated earlier, Santa Clarita also has nice schools for the same reason that Levittown did. Levittown also had restaurants. Again keeping with that same idea of a family friendly area that families would go to. Santa Clarita expands with these restaurants however, there are different types of restaurants now like fast food ones as well as even coffee shops. These two factors help contribute to the idea of Santa Clarita being a modern day Levittown.

These properties share in a special factor in common with Levittown properties. This being beautiful lawns with trees. With lawns being mowed once a week in Levittown it helped make the houses look extremely gorgeous. Santa Clarita also has properties with very similar aspects thus adding another similarity between Levittown and Santa Clarita. Another aspect that Levittown and Santa Clarita share in common is the pools. Pools are really everywhere in Santa Clarita whether it be a public pool or a pool in a backyard. Levittown had public pools in which the community shared. These pools were used to cool down in really hot weather. These aspects also provide to the idea that Santa Clarita is a modern day Levittown to an extent.

Additionally, the crime rates in both Santa Clarita and Levittown mirror eachother. Although  there are some differences between Levittown and Santa Clarita they do still share many similarities with one another. This is also prominent in Levittown where every home had a big backyard and there were also lots of parking lots Parking lots were integrated in Levittown since more and more consumers were getting cars. To add on, the crime rate in Levittown was astronomically low which resembles Santa Clarita today since there aren't that many crimes that occur here. These are just a few more similarities that Levittown and Santa Clarita share in common. Which this leads me to believe that Santa Clarita is a modern day Levittown.
