Some schools have got programs that help the environment by planting flowers and trees others not, but what's one thing that all schools could do to help the environment ? In my opinion I think that the headmster could install solar panels in order to provide energy.Another solution is to turn on the lights only when it is necessary or it is very important that every class should have one bin for rubbish and one recycling bin.

Green Schools should have clean, healthy, protective and green surroundings for their students. They should also:

Promote both the physical and the psycho-social health of learners and others in school. Ensure healthy services such as nutritional supplementation and counselling, hygienic, safe drinking water, neat, clean classrooms, playgrounds and parks.

Safe learning environment, with healthy practices (e.g. a school free of drugs, corporal punishment and harassment). Finally, bring children closer to nature as far as possible and involve them in taking care of it.

Some green practices within and beyond schools can be:

School Garbage Survey

Groups of students may inspect different areas of the school (classrooms,

common spaces, school grounds, canteen, etc.) everyday for one week.

The students can also take up a campaign to cut down on paper (stationery)

waste through several activities. Take up a campaign to create awareness

about waste generated by a “throwaway” culture and convincing others

to prevent such waste. (It could also be for avoiding water, and food wastage etc.)

A school is an academic institution built with the purpose of providing learning spaces and environments for the teaching of students under the instructions and supervision of the teachers. Studies have shown that emission of greenhouse gases from schools stand at 9.4 metric tonnes yearly. They spread from heating of school buildings, the students and staff wastes.

In essence, handle carbon footprints in schools is essential.

Install solar panels in order to provide energy. Use less paper and recycle them afterwards. Computers used at schools should be the ones with higher efficiency and less energy consumption. Encourage students, teachers and staff to walk or cycle to or from school, instead of driving. Carbon footprints can be reduced if walking buses can be introduced. Recycle more. Provide classrooms with recycling bins and teach students how to separate wastes.

Green rules of the school. Our school is improvising every year by finding new ways to reduce its carbon footprint. Here are some ways to follow suit and save the planet.first of all the school can encourage all students to use plastic flasks instead of plastic bottles ,that way ,less plastic will be used.Also the school can install solar panels to harvest and collect solar energy. All of the schools leave a global footprint for example many of the students when they open the taps to drink water they forget to close the taps again as the schools have more than 300 studets more and more water is wasted for no reason.Also teachers instead of printing both of the sides of the paper they print 2 or more pages for each student . Furthermore schools have got at least 15 classrooms and still the teachers and the students turn on the lights when they are not needed so these are some so these are some reasons why school leaves a global footprint and we should always try to dicrease it.

There are many ways for the green rules that we can do for example one way is to put more bins recycling and garbage so that the children wont throw the garbage as they pollute the environment.

Another way is the fertilizer, which helps the environment a lot worms come out and eat, for example, the sell of an egg and the exterior of fruits such as banana.

Also we could use solar panels instead of lights so that we dont spend a lot of energy.
