The Roseland Health Hub offers a variety of mental health services addressing emotional, traumatic, and behavioral challenges, including individual and family therapy. Additionally, the facility provides sexual health services, such as testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, mpox vaccinations, and Pre-exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) to prevent HIV infection. Residents as young as six years old can access these services without concern for their ability to pay. Psychiatric medication management is also available through walk-in access.

The facility also addresses substance use disorders by offering access to recovery support and addiction counseling.

Residents seeking services at the Roseland Health Hub can schedule appointments or learn more by visiting the CDPH website or calling (312) 747-1020. The CARE program can be accessed through 9-1-1 or direct referrals to CDPH.

We understand that any change in your living expenses can be challenging to manage. That’s why, beginning July 7, customers will be able to apply for assistance through our temporary ComEd Customer Relief Fund, a $10 million fund administered by Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago (NHS) and the Salvation Army that will provide eligible ComEd customers relief in the form of grants that can be applied to past-due bills. The ComEd Customer Relief Fund is possible through a one-time charitable contribution to NHS and the Salvation Army from Exelon, ComEd's parent company, and is designed to support customers in need.

We realize that our customers are bearing the brunt of increasing energy costs as demand rises and supply is not there to meet it. While ComEd and Exelon do not control energy supply costs, we are committed to advocating for customers and working to find solutions with those who do.

Eligibility

• Residential customers with past-due balances who are at or below 300 percent of the Federal Poverty Level may qualify for grants up to $500.
  - or -

• Qualified 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations with past-due balances may qualify for grants up to $1,000.

  
  

How To Apply

Beginning July 7, eligible customers in northern Illinois can apply for relief assistance to manage high energy costs. More information will be posted soon.

For the Undergraduate Scholarship, applicants must demonstrate an interest in and have participated in serving their community, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, demonstrate leadership qualities, and plan on majoring in one of the following fields: social work, counseling, psychology, youth recreation, youth prevention, or sociology. For the Graduate Scholarship, applicants must be enrolled or accepted in an approved master's program, have experience in youth programs or social services, demonstrate leadership qualities and have a career plan in social services with youth. Application dates will vary, depending on which scholarship is being applied for.

About the Position

The Accounting Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day finance department's functions and operations of the Foundation. This position will maintain strong internal controls while processing accounts payable and receivable, credit card expenses, recording daily revenue journals, and assisting in month and year-end financial close cycles. The Coordinator supports financial operations by preparing reports, assisting with audits, and performing ad hoc expense analysis.

Work Environment:

• This position requires attendance during business hours - 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday with two remote workdays.

• Occasional night and weekend hours are required to attend and assist at Foundation events or potential funder meetings and events.

• This position operates primarily in an office environment that is accessible. Some work at off-site locations may be required and those may not necessarily be fully accessible.

• This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, and filing cabinets.

• The employee may be asked to lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds.

• Travel between the primary office and other locations may be required.

• Workplace is a smoke- and drug-free environment.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in accounting/finance related field or equivalent work and lived experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on accounting experience; ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records

• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Solid understanding of basic accounting terminology, and accounts payable/receivable principles

• Strong customer service, communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills

• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and follow through

• Ability to manage confident matters with utmost integrity

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite

• Experience with accounting systems, Fund EZ preferred

• Ability to work independently and willingness to work in collaborative teams
