Judy Moody never intended to save the world, she just wanted to win a contest. The design she chose came from what her class was studying in science: conservation. Judy Moody eventually came up with an award winning idea that saved an impressive number of trees! I loved this book because I can relate to Judy Moody. I am a big conservationist as well and I even remember cleaning out the pantry (without permission) to get rid of all the foods with trash waste. I love that the book takes place in Virginia.
