Her car averages 30 miles per gallon and our trip is1000 miles round trip. We need 34 gallons  so at $2.80 so that equals $93. Each ticket is $60 for one day. This totals $120.  We plan on getting there at 6:30am we will leave around 11:30am. from there we will head to San Fran.
From Six Flags, we will be on the road for 6 more hours straight (stopping for lunch at a subway) until we reach San Francisco. We will get to the hotel at 6:00 and go get dinner at La Cicci for $30 a person, totaling $60. One night in the hotel is $200 and we will be sharing a room. We will wake up around 10:00 am and get ready to go out to do some sight seeing around the hotel. We will drive to Pier 39 and plan on spending $125 each in the stores (total $250). After that we will explore more the city on a bus tour which is $75/each, $150 in total. and then our stop will end at Robin William's iconic house which is $30/each, $60 total. Once we have had enough we will go to a late lunch at the pier totaling $30. and then head out to Santa Monica to where Holly's cousin Cole lives and he allowed us to stay the night. Once we arrive, we will take a $60/person bike tour of downtown Santa Monica, totaling $120. Adding up gas, food, and activity costs, we in total will spend $1,238. When dividing that between the two of us, we each will spend $619.
