The planet has persisting, hot winds blowing almost all the time round its surface.  Features called recurring slope lineae may have spurts of briny water flowing on the surface, but this evidence is disputed; some scientists argue the hydrogen spotted from orbit in this region may instead indicate briny salts.

Life is based on carbon akin to the Earth, so there are huge plants living close to the rocks and adapted to minimum water supply. They have the metabolism close to the Earth deserts plants, yet they can move using their root-like  expansions to the places where water may spring from underneath. 

There  are also the living creatures likes plant rolling stones. Their sizes  range from a little ball to  several metres. Each tumbleweed is a symbiosis - a plexus of hollow tubular stems, where numerous organisms live. In more favorable places, these living tangles throw out stems of anchors, which cling to the ground, stones and cracks, after which they quickly take root, various worms and arachnid symbionts crawl out of the empty stems, unwinding filamentous rhizoids. They quickly dig burrows where the root system of the tumbleweed is located. For photosynthesis, tumbleweeds use spiral unfolding leaves similar to ferns frond. These folded leaves usually hide graceful, lizard-like creatures with feathery dorsal ridges.

 The intelligent life exists below the surface where the beautiful vaults and underwater oceans are. 

 

Around these icebergs, various organisms are rapidly developing, forming a living "ring" or contour covering the melting ice. Ultimately, a ring-like island or rather a donut (not necessarily of a regular round shape) is formed surrounding the free space (lagoon) in place of the melted ice core. In some cases, this contour breaks up into small fragments of islands, in others the lagoon becomes overgrown (sometimes only the bottom of the lagoon is formed). Each island is a complex ecosystem of many species of animals and plants, including amphibians. A system of constantly operating currents keeps the islands in a wide belt that encompasses the terminator zone and partly the daytime zone. The temperature here varies from typical of middle latitudes to the subtropics of the Earth. The size of floating islands is from several hundred meters to several km.

Due to fumaroles beneath the ocean on the dark side, the huge biological structure literally rises from the bottom to the surface of the ocean. It is based on chemosynthetic organisms, while there is a floating forest, or rather a jungle on the surface of the ocean of Avalon in the area of perpetual noon. These two complexes, chemosynthetic and photosynthetic, are connected by an intermediate structure that has no analogues in Earth’s biosphere. It consists of powerful trunks intertwined with each other, grooves and ribbons with chains of numerous float bubbles supporting them.  The fumarole smokers’ area,  nodules of various metals, including the rare earth ones are formed; and organisms that accumulate almost the entire periodic table in their skeletons also live. Thus, these oases are a source of important resources for the intelligent life on this planet.
