People are too often focused on differences being negative, instead of acknowledging that difference is positive and beautiful. People are also very self-critical and not accepting of themselves which can be so damaging.

I strive to accept my students for their true selves and work to build meaningful relationships with them to foster self-acceptance and acceptance of others.
