         <description><![CDATA[<div>Since plants cannot move and rely on the sun for energy, they can adapt to their surroundings. Some plants are even able to be kept inside your house with artificial light. Specific colors are better for the growth of plants. Some lights, like yellow and green rays, reflect off leaves. This means that the plant won't get enough light energy from the artificial light. Some artificial light can mimic the suns wavelength, helping plans gain the same amount of energy.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>LED lights have a certain wavelength that can almost replicate the suns waves. The lights must reach this length to be able to supply energy for the plants. Most common light used is red or blue light. These wavelengths are larger and aren't as harsh as its counterparts.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

After extensive research, it was found that&nbsp; LED lights are best for plants since they replicate the sun's rays. This was researched because farmers were struggling to keep crops alive during the winter.​</div>]]></description>

The stem of this plant is a light-dependent process which means that different types of light will have a certain effect on the plant. This is important because it means that scientists can now naturally change foods to feed more people or make them more accessible. This means that people with disabilities can eat some foods better and we can naturally make foods larger and able to feed more people.</div>]]></description>

Research shows that when the plant was exposed to artificial light with a high irradiance, the plant lacked important metabolites. Metabolites are important for the reproduction of plants. Using this information, we can grow these important plants faster which helps the medical community. This plant is used to cure respiratory diseases in southeast Asia.</div>]]></description>
