When facing difficult situations or loosing people i was close to. It was comforting to know that everything happens for a reason. Watching friends who weren’t members or have a testimony of Jesus Christ gain one and become a member. To be part of that process reestablishes that Christ knows every one of us individually and all we have to do is turn to him and he will give us the peace or direction we are looking for.

The spirit helped me know that what the patriarch was saying was what Heavenly Father wanted me to hear. The spirit is also one of the ways to know if something is true. A person is not going to believe the Book of Mormon of its own merit. The Holy Ghost will testify of its truth.

The overwhelming feeling that I was exactly where I was meant to be. That this was the path I was meant to be on.

Studying with a question changed the way I thought about studying scriptures. I ended up actually looking forward to it because it meant something to me and my relationship with Christ grew
