         <description><![CDATA[<div>This site is easy to use and fun! I think there are endless possibilities to its use and minimal effort for teachers to facilitate engagement. In addition, it will provide students an opportunity to get creative and build technology proficiencies. It also allows students to upload images, links and documents easily.&nbsp;<br><br>Teachers can use this tool meaningfully by:<br>1. Collaboration - Students can submit individual portfolios, create an open dialogue to questions, engage in brainstorming, mind mapping or group storytelling. The ability to&nbsp; comment and respond to messages by "liking" or rating encourages student interaction and allows for the elaboration of responses. Setting displays allow the posting of user names for easy tracking of student activity.<br><br>2. Visual Demonstrations - Teachers can use this site to reinforce processes to guide students through developing outlines for writing and the development of science projects. The ability to ad video is also a huge plus for this easy to use platform.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>This tool could be best used when assessing student knowledge before entering a new lesson, attitude towards a certain topic, or to determine proficiency after completing lessons to get immediate feedback. This allows an opportunity to determine the direction that needs to be taken as they enter a lesson or what information needs to be reinforced prior to testing. </div>]]></description>

The tagging makes it easy to isolate sticky notes based on key terms, making it easy for teachers to focus conversation on specific topics or questions. This platform also has the added bonus of having a calendar set and to remind students of due dates facilitating project and time management. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Kahoot can be used as a fun way to quiz students one-on-one or in a team effort to review content after lessons have been completed. The use of video and images also provides additional visual displays to assessments. The speed at which students must respond adds to the level of excitement this application generates. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://answergarden.ch/709936">https://answergarden.ch/709936</a><br>This site is excellent for getting immediate responses to a proposed question or statement. It can be used effectively to get a read on something often over looked, student feelings. When leading students along new paths of changing and learning, it is important to identify feelings. This site allows students to communicate associated feelings and very intuitively provides visual insight by enlarging words that are most commonly used. If the question "How do you feel about the upcoming test?" and words/statements begin to emerge such as "nervous", "not sure"- teachers can dig deeper to determine what steps can be taken to reassure students or vice versa, the comments validate that students are confidently prepared. This provides a more well rounded assessment of student proficiency.</div>]]></description>
