The reason why it caught my eye the most is it had a picture of a cute baby elephant. While i was briefly scanning through it, it said "Pickup sis. It's me ... My Favorite was the Story spinner. It was the best of the three because it was shorter and had a good story line that grabbed my attention.
Setting: The two main characters writing a novel together.
Characters: A girl and the boy she liked Nick
The back story is the two main characters were writers and wanted to write a story together because the girl thought Nick was cute.
The Conflict was when they were writing together, they were writing she didn't like his style of writing.
The Epiphany was when Nick was honest with her about her style of writing not working for him either. Her whole opinion of him changed and she didn't really like him any more. Things changed after that.

I think A prompt for a flash story could be about the special needs athlete that finally gets to play in the basketball game.

She is making calls to cover herself.
The story is interesting because you are putting together slowly what really happened.
