         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Zero, One, Two, or Three</strong></div><ul><li>Students write their understanding level in their book/notes to convey how well they understand a concept (0 being did not understand, 4 being completely understand).</li><li>I can use this in my own classroom practice when introducing new concepts so that I can gauge how well my students are understanding a concept and if they need extra guidance or more challenging tasks. At the end of each lesson, I could create an exit ticket that would allow me to see the different levels of understanding so I can differentiate where needed.</li></ul><div><strong>Agree, Disagree, Depends</strong></div><ul><li>Students pick whether they agree, disagree, or depends on a factor when given a statement. Their choice reflects their level of understanding.</li><li>I can use this when reviewing concepts so I can see the levels of understanding and hear the justifications of my students as to why they made their choice. This may be done during a test review or even simply during a lesson.</li></ul><div><strong>Use of Multiple-Choice Questions</strong></div><ul><li>Students justify their choice of the multiple choices to reflect their thinking and understanding.</li><li>This is a tool I use already for assessments. During the practice of some lessons, students are given multiple-choice questions during a game. While walking the classroom, I ask them to explain their justification for their choice.&nbsp;</li></ul>]]></description>
