Basic skills I need is just being a good typer. As a NP most of the heavy technology uses are not on me they are on the techs in the hospital or on certain specialist.

As a nurse practitioner I would have a legitimate say in how my patients are treated. I will become a contributing member of society because I will do everything in my power to make my patient's stay at the hospital as painless as possible until the can hopefully leave. Many believe that websites that end in .org, .edu, .milor .gov are the most reliable. I think it is best to use websites in that domain but the best way to make sure your information is relevant is to fact check it.
