         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Although racism and the concept of race have been and are central to the formation of IR, issues involving these topics has often been neglected or sidelined<br>-According to Du Bois, the great problem of the 20th century is the problem of the color line; the relations between light and dark skinned people in the world and their struggles<br>-although racism and race issues may seem to be more "under control" now, rascism has never ceased to rear its ugly head and prove that's not the case, and it's important to analyze how it still affects our societal structure today<br><br>This chapter introduces Du boi's concept of the color line and how it affects IR as a discipline. Rascism is still alive and well, and it's of the utmost importance to recognize it, call it out, and stomp it out.</div>]]></description>
