However, Korean cultural traits are preserved. Korean people try to preserve their own traditionals sound and music in a lot of ways. Such as passed down from generation to generation, education and media. Korea preserves a wealth of cultural heritage, most of which is registered on the UNESCO world heritage list to try to preserve. For example, Pansori. Pansori is the performance of a solo artist assisted by drummer (Buk drum) where singing is combined with dramatic gestures to present a long, epic story. In addition, Samullori instrumental music is also preserved by Korean people. Korean people passed down from generation to generation. Therefore, in Korean local schools, there are after school lessons of Samullorim instrumental music. Through this lesson, students get more interested in this music and through the Samullori show, preserve it and pass it down from generation to generation.

Korean food cultural traits are influenced by globalization. For example, Fast food. Fast food is mass- produced food produce designed for quick and efficient preparation and distribution. Therefore it can be bought at convenience stores and concessions to make it easy to eat. Also, fast food typically offers tack-out and drive through services and common fast food is hamburgers, hot dogs, french fries, pizza burritos and sandwiches. However, there are two types of influences from globalization. One is Hybridization and the other one is Homogenization. Hybrid food is Korean fast food. For example, spicy rice cake(tteokbokki), Fish cake(Odeng), Kimbap and fish pastruse(Boong-eo bbang). This food is Korean fast food. It is easy to eat and homogenized food is Korean fast food but its food from other countries has been changed to fit Korean fast food. For example, Mom’s touch (hamburger store), Lotteria (hamburger store) , Pizza school (Pizza store), Isaac toast ( sandwich store) and Mcdonalds bulgogi burger. This food is influenced by globalization therefore it became a common food of Korean people.

However, Korean food cultural traits are preserved. For example, Kimjang. Kimjang is a kimchi making activity that takes place in late fall. Kimchi, a representative Koren food, has been one of the essential side dishes for Korean meals since ancient times. Also Kimchi is the most famous food in Korea. However kimjang refers to the collective practice of making and sharing. In addition, an age-old tradition that is still maintained as a collective cultural event. Kimchi is able to keep its traditions so cultural traits are preserved for passing down from generation to generation. For example, Pyeongchamg, Gangwon, Cho, 70 years old, bult the traditional house( Hanok) in 2005 to preserve, develop and educate people about Korean food. In her interview, she says she inherited traditional cooking skills from her grandmother and also her youngest daughter Kim. The reporter asks “The bibimbap recipe is inherited from the Family?” and she says that the recipe is 400 years old. Through this information, Korean people try to preserve their food culture to teach younger people, passing down the recipe from generation to generation.

Globalization causes us to all become the same culture. However globalization is not causing us to all become the same culture. In opinions that globalization causes us to all become the same culture, in music cultural traits, k-pop influences form an American Music culture during the Korean war. In addition, food cultural traits are also influenced by globalization. For example, fast food. Fast food also influences American food culture. Make food more simple and easy to eat and taste good therefore this has become a common food for Korean people. However, in the opposite opinion, globalization is not causing us to all become the same culture, it is preserved. In a musical cultural trait, Korean people try to preserve their own traditionals sound and music in a lot of ways.Such as passed down from generation to generation, education and media. In addition, in food cultural traits, Korean people try to pass down from generation to generation their own recipe to preserve their food culture. In my opinion, globalization causes us to all become the same culture because now, many people use SNS and the internet to share a lot of information. Therefore it is easier to get globalization also many cultures are already globalization and some cultural traits are already common culture so sometimes we can’t don’t realize that globalization.
