During the 17th century. Europe had begun Industrial Revolution. Along with many other countries it began. During the Industrial Revolution Europe began turning European merchants into industrialists, in which they needed larger investments in order to support industries. Which where joint stock companies and other corporations later began. For example; the East India Company, which was established in the 1600s illustrated how many investors share and risk their money for outcomes. In the 1800s it was when corporations emerged and supported limiting laws liability, and marked a significant role in the Industrial Revolution. This made many investors invest their own money with no fear or of losing personal assets. Capitalism really had led a mark towards the Industrial Revolution. As well as Europe's support from inventing companies and making stock holders. They were able to draw materials from Belgium like coal and iron.
