Republican are against abortion. They firmly believe that every human should have the right to life, especially an unborn child. They believe  that the rights guaranteed to all Americans in the Fourteenth Amendment apply to unborn children as well. They support a constitutional amendment which states this, and which will end abortion entirely.

 - A decrease in flexibility for patients to freely choose from among the vast cornucopia of drugs, treatment options, and surgical procedures offered today by higher-priced doctors and hospitals. 
- Existing patient confidentiality standards, which would likely be diluted by centralized government info that would necessarily be maintained. 
- Less potential doctors may opt to enter the medical profession due to decreased opportunities for highly compensated positions. Less doctors coupled with skyrocketing demand for doctors could lead to a shortage of medical professionals, and to longer waiting periods for appointments.

Much of this support is to help victims of violent crimes. They have no plans to abolish the death penalty. After Clayton Lockett's death penalty Many Americans consider executions gone wrong as “cruel and unusual punishment. But Republicans strong belief on death penalty  sits at 76 percent.

Republicans believe that  having a male and female authority figure is a healthier and more balanced way for a child to grow up. They believe   that the institution of marriage was set up as such by the founding fathers, and has been defined this way throughout history, and that changing it compromises the sanctity of the institution. Most newlyweds, if anything, will receive a bonus by filing as a married taxpayer. However, some low-income and high-income couples can actually incur a "marriage penalty" if their incomes are similar.

The party believes that budget surpluses have caused Americans to be overtaxed-a condition that is not only threatening their financial prosperity, but is also hindering growth to the country’s economy. They also want to limit the top marginal rate, believing it punishes those who have worked hard and invested well. Republicans also wish to make the Research and Development tax credit permanent. They also believe in encouraging saving and investments by implementing a tax credit for investments. However, despite their support for lowering taxes, Republicans do believe that tax cuts or tax incentives without any balancing spending cuts are detrimental to the economy.

They feel as if Marijuana were to be legalized then there would need to be stricter federal regulations over marijuana, amongst the rampant state legalizations for medical and recreational use.The republicans who are anti-legalization belive that the drug has no positive affects simply because  a University of Colorado at Denver study showed an increase in marijuana-related traffic fatalities between the state’s legalizing the drug for medicinal uses in 2009 and 2013.

They believe in warmly welcoming those who enter the country through legal methods, while devoting extra resources to keep out those who try to enter via illegal methods, as well as keeping track of those who enter and when they leave. The party believes that amnesty towards those who have broken immigration laws only encourages future immigrants to enter the country illegally rather than legally. While Republicans recognize that the number of foreign immigrants travelling here has enriched our country, they also believe that requiring them to do so legally is vital to the safety of Americans.
