Imperialism and Globalization both play a major role with the growth of terrorism due to the point of view that Southeast Asia has against the Western countries, that we want to have complete control over everyone and is why they have stated that their acts are reminders that they will not stand for this and continue to fight and rebel for what right in their beliefs

Imperialism and globalization play a role in the development of terrorism in that imperialism leaves a legacy of oppression that often fosters resentment towards the imperializing nation for centuries to come. Such resentment causes people to gravitate toward extreme and violent ideologies. Globalization is similar in that it leads to the dilution or suppression of cultures of religions, leading to defensive acts.

Imperialism and globalization play a role in the development of terrorism in the sense that Western countries have asserted their control in areas that were not originally under their jurisdiction. The people of those other places were left angry and rightfully adamant about regaining their territory and their rights as sovereign people, leading them to occasionally take control of the situation in the form of terrorism.

Fuller says that terrorism should have probably started sooner because oppression on the part of Western countries had been a reality for a long time and emotions should've boiled into a large attack, like 9/11, sooner than they did.

Imperialism creates an air of superiority in a society. Globalization allows communication between people of differing religions which also leads to disagreements and the clashing of beliefs. Fuller believes that terrorism should have started sooner than it did because, the outcome can be different than the way it is now, for example if terrorism happened earlier, we would better of their intentions and goals.

Imperialism and globalization play a role in the development of terrorism because Imperialism is the policy of extending a country's power and influence through diplomacy or military force. Whereas globalization is the process by which businesses or other organizations develop international influence or start operating on an international scale. So both of those two actions play a role in the development of terrorism because each take part with the actions of every extremist group which is all over the Middle East.

The middle east has been invaded repeatedly by Western imperialist armies, its resources commandeered, borders redrawn by Western fiat in conformity with its various interests, and regimes established that are compliant with western dictates. Today, global intercommunication's and shared satellite images have created a strong self consciousness among Muslims and a sense of broader Western imperial siege against a common Islamic culture.
