They do this to better understand the human mind, and to be able to perceive the world in the eyes of their patients. The famous world renowned psychologists study the brain, aiming to help the people who struggle mentally, and study how they feel to help others who also struggle, whether its depression, or Cognitive Distortions like polarization or magnifying. Psychology isn’t just knowing what a brain does, it’s studying how the mind works.
