The UN can form coalition of large companies committed to the SDGs, support their commitment to align their business model on the SDGs and document/share lessons learned for adoption.

While the UN has the onerous task of global development in general, it is should translate this to country and city specific tasks that need to be achieved. We can then use a technology platform to aggregate the needs of teh UN and teh capabilities of teh private sector, and bring about close matches between the two, which will then help in speedy local execution.
