enter 4 year old jimin who adores her newly introduced younger brother. she had sworn from that day that she would show him her favorite toys, the strawberry candies that she cherished so dearly, the best way to convince mom and dad to buy something -- everything. her younger brother was everything right in the world, a sweet beacon of hope in the tumultuous years of blooming maturity. he was always uplifting, always the one to put a smile on her face. at the age of 8, her brother falls terminally ill. there wasn't time to wonder the next course of medical steps, there wasn't time to apologize for every single time she'd gotten upset with him. 

two weeks flew by, each day bleaker and bleaker until jimin had come to terms with the fact that her baby brother had passed. nothing was quite the same after that. her family, though they had grieved, held forced smiles and tensed atmospheres like it was their second nature.
