My passion for education Started when I was very young. Throughout my life, my goal has always been to teach. When I was in high school, I worked in many classrooms and this helped to enforce my passion for teaching. Currently I work in a daycare, which challenges me to find new ways to teach, to a new younger audience.

From College to High School

High School has always been where I want to be teaching. I want to teach high School because I was impacted most by my High School teachers, and I want to impact my students in the same way. Often students in High School are in a pivotal part of their life, and I want to be able to guide them in he right direction. Ive always wanted to be a teacher, but having the amazing teachers I did in High school, showed me what kind of teacher I wanted to be.

Finding my Niche

Teaching High School means teaching one subject, and I never really know what that would be until college. When I started taking history courses in college I discovered how passionate about it I was. I love history because it's a story and a story that teaches us lessons. History is something everyone can enjoy, you don't have to be "good" at it, you just have to be open to learning.
