In the source it pointed out that white people inherit their parents money and property at a greater rate than black people. Also in that source they point out that white people tend to get lower interest rates for home loans. White people tend to have higher paying jobs and can therefore afford better homes and in nicer neighborhoods. In this area, if a black person goes in to a store they will be watched but if a white person walks into a store they are not even bothered. At pharmacy they cater first aid products towards white people and on the packaging it says "skin color". In Huck Finn Jim was separated from his family and did not know where they were but Tom Sawyer did not have to worry about being separated from his family. Even thought they could have gotten apprehended they still did it for love. when Huck and Jim were traveling to a free state they were not thing about get in trouble they were only thing about the task at hand just like Ellen and William Craft. Even though blackface was introduced in the 19th century people still do it now but not as much as when it first started. In Huck Finn the king wear blackface in the role nonesuch "play" he was in. Virginia's Governor wear blackface when he was in collage and now people are finding out about it and are now worried. At a press conference that he was not in the picture that was released from his collage yearbook.
