The women characters in Mean Girls, specifically Regina George, we depicted as vain, unintelligent, and gossip obsessed. They created rules around their vanity (e.g. no sweatpants, only wear hair in pony tail once a week), and commented on their body weight often. They also created a book of rumors that glorified women being entrenched in drama. One character, Karen, was shown as extremely unintelligent.

Olivia Pope, the lead character, is shown as a strong, intellectual woman. On the other hand, she embodies several stereotypes of African American women: the sapphire (an African American woman portrayed as loud, stubborn, and overbearing), a jezebel (an African American woman shown as seducing and tempting), and a mammy (an African American woman depicted as seemingly content with slavery). She is depicted as a jezebel by having an affair with the president, a sapphire by persisting until she gets what she wants, and a mammy for being okay with fixing all of the presidents mistakes. Even as the main character, she is exploited through racial stereotypes.
(reading resource and reference: https://drexel.edu/~/media/Files/law/law%20review/v11-2/freeman.ashx)

Many of the male office workers discuss how she became more attractive once she got a boob job. When she was dating the office manager Michael Scott, she was portrayed as a crazy, needy, and clingy girlfriend. Once she becomes a mother, that becomes the main point of her character and all the other characteristics she had were no longer important.

They have a short back and forth about why they think they were mistaken and one idea they come up with is that Dean (left in this picture) might be overcompensating and being over masculine.

Max is his twin sister and she is full of energy, won't be quiet, is the life of the party, just wants to be in love, and dramatically cries when things go badly. Their dynamic in the show portrays them as polar opposites despite being twins. They never seem to get along
