Hi All! As this year draws to a close for many of our member choirs, we wanted to share a draft of our updated document on fee guidelines for Conductors and Accompanists. We receive a lot of queries around this, so ahead of a new term starting in September, this may be some food for thought. Of course, these are only guidelines and recommendations, and it's more important that you all have these conversations with your choirs and directors to come to a decision that suits your own situation. We would love to hear any feed back on this, before publishing to our website in September, so you can email Rachel at rachel@singireland.ie or leave a comment below.

Calling Gregorian Chanters in the South East

The St. Michael's Gorey Gregorian Chant Schola will be resuming rehearsals at 7pm on Tuesday September 1st. We sing at 10 am Sunday Mass from September to Corpus Christi. We welcome new members at any time, and this is a good time because we will learn the favourite chants for Advent and Christmas. Please contact the Parish Office at goreyparish@gmail.com or 053 942 1117 to register your interest. You don't have to already know how to read Latin or square notes, we provide translations and audio and video recordings that you can learn from, in your own time.

https://www.stmichaelsgorey.ie/music
