         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Pick, Draw, and Sort by Word Family (-at, -en, -ay)</strong></p><p>SS will reinforce phonics and categorization skills by picking a card from the basket, reading the word aloud, drawing a picture to represent it, and then sorting it into the correct word family house (-at, -en, -ay).          <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Dot Finders Exploration</strong></p><p>SS will strengthen visual discrimination, attention, and problem-solving by using Dot Finders. Each SS will receive a card with a small pattern of colored dots. They will place the viewing frame (square) on the large dot board and search until they find the exact matching pattern. Once they find the match, they will record it by drawing or coloring the pattern on a recording sheet.
