The argument makes assumptions, taking a possibility and treating it as an inevitable outcome. For example, it is illogical to presume that every time you go to stores at the mall, you'll lose your mom. Because of this, almost every single premise is only vaguely and occasionally true, and therefore the argument is unsound.

Assuming the premises are valid, they do logically reach the conclusion. If we assume for a moment that each action does indeed lead to the next one the argument claims to follow, then it is possible to draw the conclusion that the first action, using a phone, leads to the last, death.

“Animal experimentation reduces our respect for life. If we don’t respect life, we are likely to be more and more tolerant of violent acts like war and murder. Soon our society will become a battlefield in which everyone constantly fears for their lives. It will be the end of civilization. To prevent this terrible consequence, we should make animal experimentation illegal right now.”

Each premise in the argument is very circumstantial. To prove its claim, it states that A leads to B, B leads to C, and so on. The problem with such reasoning is that each set's actions and consequences are not always linked. You can't take one possibility and apply it to the cause of that possibility, especially not in such a long chain, because the final consequence becomes more and more separated from the initial cause. You can't take a marginal case and claim that it applies to all cases.
