Topics can be agreed as learners progress. There is no harm in repeating topics at this level and is indeed a requirement for learning.In this course you will gain an introduction to general computing skills to be able to use the computer, keyboard and mouse. You will also learn how to safely use email and the internet for online services and to communicate to improve everyday living, such as accessing local public services, information and communicating. As well as consolidating and building your confidence, we will teach you additional formatting techniques for Word Processing, moving on from what you already know.We will also learn how to use the iPad & iPhone to keep in touch with friends and family such as using Skype, understanding other social media Apps such as FaceTime and WhatsApp to keep in touchThis course is designed to give students a deeper understanding and more practice using the computer for word processing, internet and email. Also an overall understanding of how to use many features of the iPad / iPhone and how the technology works.
