1. Who was your favorite character and why?

   • Aya Ayoub- Lina because she lost her sister in a blackout and that is what my sister would do.

   • Kisa- Lina because she is very optimistic and I would as a friend because of her personality.

1. Who is the main character? Stanely Yelnats.

2. who is your favorite character? Stanely, Armpit, and Zero.

3. How did the author keep you interested or surprise you throughout the story? He added characters that have weird personalities and also everyone has a weird nickname.

4. What character did you dislike or disagree with the most? Barf Bag and Mr. Sir.

5. What happens to the main character? He is always in the wrong place at the wrong, he got arrested because they thought he stole the shoes, and he was given the decision to either go to jail or go to Camp Green Lake.

6. What is the best part of the book so far? The best part of the book was when the shoes fell from the sky.

Question 1 : Our favorite character was Claudia

Question 3 : Some of us felt like Jamie because we were bossed around, and told what to do. Some of us felt like Claudia because we were stressed and wanted to run away.

Question 5: We would give advise to Claudia to be a little more patient and stop over reacting. We would advise her to not run away because her home is the safest place to be.

Favorite moment: Hussein said when Stanley offers Zero to read

Salman said when Stanley lied about stealing the sunflower seeds to Mr Sir

Surprises: Zigzag hit the shovel into Stanley and it came out of nowhere

Pace of story: slow because they talk about the parts slow

Chapters 5-10

1. What was your favorite scene or moment in the book? why did it stand out to you?

• Aya Ayoub- I like the scene where lina sees the chewed up paper in Poppy's mouth.

  
  

• Aya Sabra- I liked the scene where lina lost poppy because it builds up suspense & distress.

  
  

• Kisa- I liked the scene when it was Lina's first day as messenger. I'm glad that she swapped jobs with Roon.

   Eman: When they went to the library.

   Fatima: When they found the chocolate bar on the street.

2. Did the book have any twists or surprises?

   We all agreed that it was surprising when Caludia thought the sculpture looked like one of her family members.

   Some said it was fast and some said it was just right.
