For lower elementary or anyone with iPads/tablets. Great for students to take a picture and record voice. Would be a great way to informal formative assessment - like Blabberize. Also would be great for students to take a picture of a book cover and retell a story- could help with comprehension or listening and speaking for TELPAS practice. Students could take a picture or upload a picture of a person and give facts about person to go over biography, possibilities
are endless with any site like this.

With Persuasive text TEKS and tie into science TEKS on conservation of natural resources, students were able to choose from a menu of choices to create a product. I created a rubric that we went over first that had points for persuasive language, audience, conservation techniques, effort, participation, etc. Students had choices like create a poster/billboard (google doc or google drawing), Google Slideshow, Animoto video (commercial), Poster on paper (non digital option), recorded video using iMovie, Popplet, Padlet, any other choice they had to get approved by me. Then at the end we presented and most importantly students did a Google Form reflection piece and we reflected as a class and why certain projects were "stronger" than others.

I created a "menu" for my students as a choice board. They could choose anything on the menu, as song as they spent $100. $=points, so if they only spent $80, their grade was an 80. It's easy to change up and edit for different courses/topics and my kids love it. Feel free to make a copy of my example and edit for yourself. :
