Write a one-paragraph reflection on your investigation. What was confusing? What started to make sense? What did it seem similar to outside of Geometry?

There really wasn't any confusing part of the investigation for me. What made the most sense and the most easiest was plotting the points. The next easiest was figuring out what points the translation would have. It did seem similar to outside of geometry because in algebra we plotted points, and in grade school, you learned how the graph (4 quadrants looked) and how to plot simple shapes, such as a square, rectangle, triangle, etc.

The task itself was fairly straightforward, find the center of rotation or the line of reflection. deciding whether or not it was reflection or rotation. By finding the perpendicular bisector of each pre-image point and image point, the center of rotation or line of reflection becomes more prevalent, eliminating a great deal of confusion. The line of symmetry is similar to a function in algebra, meaning that it can be expressed as a function in the form y=mx+b.
