Let me explain the advantages and disadvantages of hosting international games. The advantage is that if there are many tourist attractions in the host country, it can increase the number of tourists during the Olympics to bring about the revival of the city. In addition, there are positive aspects of urban redevelopment, tourism and employment increase, urban image and reputation improvement, public welfare improvement, and community consciousness recovery. The disadvantages include continuous construction debt, infrastructure that has become unnecessary since the Olympics, rent hikes, and unfair migration of citizens, which are expensive to create an environment for the Olympics.

There are also many exercises that can be used indoors regardless of the weather. The disadvantage is that there are many sports that can only be done at Yeomju Gymnasium, which reduces the utilization of other sports locations.

Make a suggestion about what future international sports events should be hosted in Gwangju.
-The international game I hope to be held in Gwangju in the future is the Volleyball World Championships.

After COVID-19, I think the smoking rate will increase.
According to the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the overall smoking rate of Koreans has decreased since the COVID-19 pandamic, but cigarette sales have increased. In other words, the number of smokers has decreased, but the amount of smoking in smokers has increased more than before. Smokers said the amount of smoking increased due to stress from COVID-19, more free time, boredom, and working from home. The reason for the decrease in smoking rates is to have stopped smoking due to the risk of exposure to COVID-19.

Addiction is not easy to stop. Even after COVID-19, smokers who smoked during COVID-19, will still not be able to reduce the amount of smoking and maintain it. Also, I predict that people who quit smoking due to the risk of exposure to COVID-19 diseases will smoke again. Therefore, I think the smoking rate will increase. In addition, inflation is about to take place from now on, and the economy will stagnate as the economic bubble created during the COVID-19 period subsides. I think the smoking rate will eventually increase due to the stress caused by these things.
As such, I predict that the smoking rate will increase after COVID-19. For the health of the people, the government will need to propose quitting smoking.

20201194 Kim-Dayoung

Through your opinion, I learned that COVID-19 affected the amount of smoking in smokers. I think smoking addiction is difficult to overcome unless you get proper treatment. So I agree with you that you expect the smoking rate to increase. Also, I think people's smoking rate will increase as anxiety about infection decreases when the post-COVID-19 period comes.

20201189 Jeon Jae Hee:
I agree with Saerom that many people who quit smoking to avoid exposure to the risk of COVID-19 will smoke again. When COVID-19 ends, smokers' awareness will disappear and the probability of returning to their old habits will increase. And I think it is necessary for Korea to launch a smoking cessation campaign for the health of the people and propose smoking cessation.
