Demi Lavato and Selena Gomez were best friends in the beginning of both of their Disney Channel careers. During their friendship there were ups and downs. There was even one conflict that they had that made them separate for awhile. Lindsay Lohan has had many problems with using drugs, she has gotten arrested many times for using and has gone on televison to talk about her issues. By going on this talk show she explain how she felt like no one cared about her, her family, friends no one want her to be there with them. This caused Lindsay Lohan to do drugs and go in and out through therapy. Eventually once Lindsay admitted to herself that what she was doing was wrong she sat down with her family and explain everything to them. In the story Maddie is very attracted to an older guy named Chive. When Maddie met Chive, she first thought he was cute, so she tried to hangout with him. Chive would flirt back with Maddie while still being in a relationship with his girlfriend Whitney. So Maddie ended up hanging out with Chive, Whitney, and others, just to get close to Chive. This caused Maddie to try the drug, pot,  which she  later regreted. After a couple months later, Zoe dares Maddie to "confess her love" to Chive. Maddie never truly admits to fully liking Chive, so she resisted. However Maddie being her rebel self took the dare, and confessed her love to Chive, which caused a negative response as seen in the quote. This helped her though later in the story because she finally was free from the stress of trying to get Chive to like her.
